Welcome to ALAIA Surf Lodge. By booking a stay or using this website, you agree to the following terms.
Reservations and payment
- Full payment is required to confirm your booking. Your reservation is not guaranteed until we receive payment in full.
- We accept credit and debit cards, bank transfer, and cash by arrangement.
Cancellation policy
All stays at ALAIA use a Firm cancellation policy:
- Full refund if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in.
- Full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of booking, as long as the booking was made at least 7 days before check-in.
- 50% refund if you cancel between 7 and 30 days before check-in.
- No refund if you cancel less than 7 days before check-in, or after check-in. No-shows are non-refundable.
Bookings made through Airbnb or Booking.com follow the cancellation terms shown on that platform. See our Cancellation Policy page for details.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible on request, just ask.
Off-grid living
We run on solar power and tanked water, so please use both mindfully. The Villa, The Lookout and The Hideout all have air conditioning. Our Wi-Fi is Starlink, at 150 to 200 Mbps.
Use of the property
Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay. Keep it mellow, respect the land, and leave it better than you found it.
Pets
We love animals, but pets are not allowed anywhere at ALAIA. Three friendly dogs live on the property.
Liability
ALAIA Surf Lodge is not responsible for injury, loss or damage during your stay. Surfing, camping and life in remote Baja carry inherent risks, and by booking you accept them.

We only use your personal information to manage your booking and your stay. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page.
